Arinmap Consultants Limited is an offshoot of Arinmap Survey Company which was registered in 1981 to offer professional services as executing and consulting surveyors and mappers.

The modification in the name, as well as upgrading from a registered company to a Limited Liability company was as a result of the enlargement of the company’s scope of activities to include computer consultancy, supply, installation and training coupled with digital information, Land information and Geographic Information System(LIS/GIS) design, development, training and operationalization.

The metamorphosis from a purely surveying and mapping company to one that encompasses computers, GIS, LIS etc. took place in 1997 when the name Arinmap Consultants Limited was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

The company has acquired a wide range of equipment for the speedy execution of its field based and office based projects. It has on its payroll seasoned and experienced personnel who have many years of post institution experience in the industry, and are complimented by others who serve as short term and long term consultants when the existing staff cannot cope with projects on the ground.
