As evidence of its technical capability, the
firm has undertaken the following projects within the last few years.
1. Production of Digital Administrative Map of Oyo State:
We were commissioned by the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey
of Oyo State to produce a digital map of Oyo State.
The digital map was produced using the existing 1:250,000 map of
Nigeria as base. The maps were scanned, geo-referenced and vectorized
using the semi-automatic (on screen) method of vectorization. The
details vectorized include rivers, roads, footpaths, contours, place
names, boundaries, spot heights etc. Accurate location of place
names was done by collecting coordinates of place names using the
Garmin12XL Hand Held GPS which gives the coordinates correct to
within 5 metres.

2. Production of Digital Administrative Map of Nigeria from 1:500,000
The Federal Survey Department of
the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing commissioned us to produce
a digital administrative map of Nigeria using the existing 1:500,000
map series of Nigeria as base.
The maps were scanned, geo-referenced and vectorized using the semi-automatic
raster-chasing on screen software. All details were vectorised with
particular emphasis on state boundaries based on the 1:1,000,000
map sheet containing the boundaries as supplied by the Federal Surveys
Department (FSD).

3. Production of Digital
Plan of All Plots In Phases I And II of Abuja
(Federal Capital City)
We have produced and are still updating the digital plan of Abuja
showing all the plots within the city (developed and undeveloped)
The ultimate aim is to produce a colour digital land use plan of
the city.

4. Production of
Digital Map of Kubwa Township
We were commissioned by FOLA KONSULT LTD; to produce the digital
map of Kubwa township from the existing 1:5,000 maps of the township
for the purpose of preparation of master plan / detailed site development
plan of the township. The emphasis was on existing development (man
made features) and natural features which constitute constraints
to development.
5. Production of Digital Map of Zuba Development Area
We were commissioned by the Department of Planning and Survey to
produce digital maps of Zuba Development Area of the Federal Capital
Territory. The digital map(at scale 1:5,000) was produced from aerial
photographs taken in 1983 at scale 1:10,000, and was vectorized
to convert to digital.
